Linda did such a wonderful, stunning job of quilting this top - it shows up the quilting so impressively.
from Linda: "This is only my 8th custom quilt and my first geometric design. I
didn't realize the precision required for geometric designs. A little
nerve-racking but I was really pleased with the outcome. The pattern is
called Time Warp by Will Simpson at Quilting Around. The chevron
quilting designs I found initially didn't end up working for the long
horizontal rows. The designs were Sharon Perry's and I worked with her
at House of Creations to modify them and she worked up the entire
layout."
"Thank you VERY much for the tip on placing the parallelograms first, and then the triangles. Despite the variability in the rows from wobbly piecing, I think overall the triangles look consistently spaced and I was able to meet the corner points in the large border. I owe this to your tip!"
