What a striking quilt this is - such a simple patchwork design and utterly timeless. The colour combination is overpowering.<br>

When quilting this, Sue very cleverly used a p2p square which had a design which was the same on one side of the diagonal as the other side. Then when it came to the border she chose one which used a cornerstone - to sit fabulously into the cornerstone on the border itself.<br>

Sashes and narrow border: Apple leaf vine (6)
