One of the many groups of quilters in Wellington who meet casually together call themselves The Towrags. They made this for one of their member's - Debra's - 50th birthday. Irene, Sheryl, Pat, Ngaire, Meanie and Gaynor did a combination of paper piecing and machine piecing.

Debra selected two very geometric patterns to have this quilted with.

This quilt has been widely exhibited and in one won 'Merit, Group Bed Quilt' as well as 'Merit, Best Use of Colour'.

in the star points and the white diamonds: Snakes tri vert p2p (8)
