Lyn took a class with Jinny Beyer and this is the striking result. Hand pieced, as per Jinny's instructions this truly is an heirloom.
The circles in the quilting design provide an excellent contrast to the sharp angles of the diamonds in the piecing.
The pattern used in the diamonds is a p2p one - with the stitching coming
in and going out of the diamond tips which meant the stitching could
flow continuously from one diamond to another.
