The Garden Quilt
Sandra Fong, Quilted Bliss, Gold River, CaliforniaSandra had a great time quilting this beauty. This quilt really show the wondrous effect cross-hatching has: it gives texture while leaving the toile fabric to speak for itself, and highlighting the stars.
This quilt won 1st place in the 'Small Quilt' category at the Folsom Quilt and Fiber Guild show, February 2014.

- Border and Corners: X Hatch cnr & bdrs 4.5 (7)
- Side setting triangles - Hatch tri 4 p2p was used: Hatch triangles p2p (19)
- Corner setting triangles - X Hatch tri 4 p2p was used: X Hatch triangles p2p (12)
- Sawtooth Stars: Martina Sawtooth sq
Tips & Info
- By using different triangles in the corners to those on the sides Sandra was able to keep the density the same and the lines going in the same direction between triangles.
