Bernadette's Quilt

Bernadette Robinson, Killena Quilting, Victoria, Australia.
This is a stunning quilt by Bernadette.
It is soft blue with some lovely contrasting darker blues included in the main kaleidoscope blocks. The white of the sashes and borders crisps everything up.
What it very interesting to me is that very little feature fabric has been used: there is a lot of alternate fabric, along with the sashes and border. This gives areas to showcase the quilting fabulously.
There are just 16 pieced blocks in this quilt and the 'kaleidoscope' effect within each block is achieved with just 4 pieces.
