Margaret moved house about 18 years ago and she and her husband shifted into a lovely large bedroom, with a new king sized bed. Therefore a new quilt was required.
She was inspired by a quilt in an old magazine - so she purchased the fabric and started hand cutting and hand piecing - as one did 18 years ago!

This year she decided it was time to actually finish it.
When it came to Sue's for quilting, Sue and I thought that the hand piecing had to have due recognition - it needed a quilting pattern to compliment it, and it certainly had the areas to allow for that.
Sue and I were thrilled with the result - as was Margaret.

Margaret is now off to purchase new wallpaper to go with the quilt!
