Swirls mini quilt

This was made as a class sample to illustrate builders around circles.
Both my Aunt and my Mother had made quilts with hand applique feature circles on a plain(ish) background. They were wonderful - but needed quilting patterns to go with them. This was one of the options I presented them with - but in the end not one which was used!
Eventually a complete range of patterns was developed to go with this one including triangles and squares.
On the machine black fabric was the backing and cream fabric was the top. For the outline dark navy thread was used in the bobbin and cream on the top.

- Quilt Outline: QOutl Circles 3x2 2 bdrs
