Touches of Colour

This quilt was a result of the combination of two challenges:
- it was a new block I had designed using just 5" squares and
- a group I belonged to swapped black and white fabrics with the challenge to incorporate them all into a quilt with the theme of 'a touch of colour'. Not being sure just which colour I should 'touch' the quilt with I opted to cover all bases.
This was the quilt that the 'large' snail borders were developed for. The small and medium ones just did not hack it!
