This quilt is a result of a 4patch block swap in my group. (I will put our group instructions up on the 'Info and Free' page later)
It turned out to be quite an exercise in sorting colours, (was the red really red, or was it brown, maybe pink, maybe orange or even purple?!) It was a relief to not have to group all the 4 patches and be able to have the odds and sods going around the outside.
Sorting quilting ideas was also a bit of a challenge at first, but once done I was very pleased.
The breakthrough came when I decided to treat the star points as being the 'sashes'.
Another member of the group did this quilt in completely different colour values with her background being dark.
It was spectacular (and I am still awaiting on photos!!)
