Udderly Wonderful Scraps

Lots of scraps of fabric were put together randomly to form large squares. These were then set on point, but off-set to make a 'path' between them.
That path between the squares gave room for wonderful quilting. A p2p triangle pattern was used, and wool batting sculptured the quilting beautifully.
Placing the quilt sideways on the machine meant that a complete column of triangles could be sewn continuously. Less dense quilting patterns were used for the triangles with smaller areas at the ends of some of the paths.
'I Should Have Gone Sailing' is a quilt made using the same pattern - but with a different 'path' fabric, and a different quilting pattern in the path. What a different look is achieved!

- Corner Setting Triangles and Path small Triangles (both First and Last versions used): Besiantra tri first p2p
- Scrappy Squares (4x4 version used): X Hatch - jump (71)
